About Us
To design Egyptian journeys so meticulously crafted, so deeply personal, that returning home feels like leaving a second life.
How it began
Aurion Egypt Tours was born in a small apartment overlooking the Nile in Luxor, where our founder Youssef Al-Rashid realised that the Egypt most visitors experienced was only a shadow of the real thing.
After years guiding private clients through sites that never appear in guidebooks — tombs opened only for royalty, temples at first light with no other souls present — he knew there was a different kind of Egypt waiting to be discovered.
Eight years and over 800 private journeys later, Aurion remains guided by that original conviction: that travel should be transformative, not transactional.
What we stand for
Every journey is built exclusively for you. No groups, no compromises.
Our Egyptologists are among the finest in the world — academics who make history vivid.
Every transfer, permit, and reservation handled invisibly so you never think about the how.
We open doors that remain closed to standard tourists — private site visits, after-hours access, special permits.
We believe the best travel moments happen when local people share their lives with visitors.
Over 800 journeys and a 100% satisfaction record. Your trust is everything to us.
